Not only that, but I woke up this morning with a rare feeling of determination. I would make us a breakfast of champions. The best morning feast we've ever had. It would rival the buffet line at camp...when you think that the option of any cold cereal you could ever want all packaged up in a cute little disposable bowl was too good to be true...along with bouncy watery eggs and a sausage patty.
I managed to come up with some goat cheese, a little leftover brie, cheddar cheese, bacon, onion, eggs and green onion. All thrown together to make a surprisingly delicious combo. {don't forget to throw a little garlic salt and italian seasoning into the eggs}...

Now that wasn't so hard, Miriam. Why don't you just cook something everyday and then someday when you have children they won't be stuck eating string cheese for every meal. {although, i love string cheese and wouldn't be altogether opposed to the idea...}
So, if you're reading this, and you're like me and you haven't the slightest idea what to make....open your fridge, throw everything that's in it into an omelette and call it dinner.
Voila.
It's sunny here in portland. That means I need to get my tush outside and enjoy it...

ReplyDeleteLOVE the chalkboard wall. Adorable as usual, Miriam.
ReplyDeleteAttn Mommies: Chalkboard walls + kids = a big ol' pile of chalkboard dust on the trim and floor. Just FYI. But for cutie-tootie newlyweds its stinkin' adorable.
