Well hello New Year...

...It's nice to meet you. Please be surprising and full of adventure and challenge. And I would be fine with a trip to Italy mixed in there somewhere, if you see fit.

And goodbye holidays. You brought all sorts of new this year as our first in Oregon. Our first real tree...in our first apartment here....with christmas parties with new friends...and our first Thanksgiving with my fam together....snow on Christmas day in TN for the first time in forever...a new sister in the family....

At a New Year's Eve party, in which my husband was playing music at, a friend of a friend said to my friend, about me (is this getting confusing?), "Is that girl over there dating that boy? Because she keeps checking him out..." (referring to Chris). Later my friend told me that, laughing.

And everytime I think about it, I just smile, knowing that I was caught checking out my husband. It's good to be in love...
